LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON
As you've probably already heard, due to the ongoing pandemic we have had to suspend rehearsals and cancel our upcoming Brighton Fringe show 'Baring it All'. All of us are super disappointed - we were really enjoying coming together to create a new show with a powerful message about love featuring a zany mix of repertoire from Francis Poulenc to the The Doobie Brothers to Chicago.
If it's possible for us to reschedule the show this year, we'll let you know. Otherwise, please save the date for our annual CHRISTMAS SHOW on 11 & 12 DECEMBER 2020 - this year at the beautiful St Paul's Church in West Street, Brighton.
At this very challenging time, we'd like to ask you to consider supporting FareShare Sussex - particularly if you were planning to come to our next show. If you are in a position to do so, please donate the £14 you would have spent on a ticket to our concert to FareShare, a charity that provides surplus food to vulnerable groups in the community. This organisation (in Brighton & Hove but also nationally) is one of many local organisations at the forefront of supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community at this difficult time.
On behalf of all of us at RESOUND we would like to thank you for your ongoing support. We can assure you that we will be back singing as soon as it's possible and we hope you will be able to join us at our next show whenever that is. We'll keep you posted! In the meantime, we're hoping that you will all stay safe and well — Stuart Heaton (Chair)
FareShare is a charity that receives surplus food from food companies that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it to local charities in refrigerated vans by volunteers. The food is then transformed into thousands of meals or food parcels every week.
